Mathis is a seasoned plant-medicine facilitator from Switzerland with over ten years of experience supporting healing, growth, and transformation through entheogenic work. His approach is rooted in sound therapy and ceremonial music, guiding people into deeper connection.

A professional musician with more than a decade of international touring, Mathis weaves ancestral and contemporary musical practices into his ceremonies. His original medicine music shapes each journey, while his teachings aim to help others reconnect with ancient ways of exploring consciousness.

Grounded primarily in the Shipibo tradition of Ayahuasca and complemented by training in the Chavín lineage with San Pedro, Mathis continues to return to Peru’s sacred sites to deepen his study and devotion to this path of ancestral medicine.

The temple complex consists of various structures, including plazas, terraces, ceremonial chambers and labyrinthines, arranged in a carefully planned energetic layout. Stone carvings adorn the walls, depicting mythical creatures and deities that hold sway over natural forces. The design of the temple is believed to have been influenced by astronomical alignments and sacred geometry, with certain features oriented towards celestial phenomena.

About the Ceremonies

San Pedro ceremonies begin at the "The Chakra", Kamalas incredible sanctuary space that sits directly in front of the the Temple surrounded by hundreds of San Pedro Cacti and grazing alpacas. After setting intentions and prayers, we drink the sacred medicine together and make our way into the Temple where we spend the entire day free to explore and experience the magic of the Temple.

Enjoy intimate time in the many different alters and sacred ceremonial spots around the Temple. As the sun sets we return to The Chakra to enjoy a large bonfire together with live ceremony music. We share a delicious meal as we connect under the mountain stars. We sleep in cozy individual huts on ceremony nights and reconvene in the morning for breakfast and integration before returning to our hotel.

SAN PEDRO
subhead icon

San Pedro a psychedelic
cactus species

San Pedro is a psychedelic cactus species native to the Andes mountains of Peru that has been traditionally used for its psychoactive properties by indigenous cultures in shamanic rituals and spiritual ceremonies for thousands of years offering transformative experiences by consuming the cactus itself. Helping humans heal physically, emotionally, energetically and connect with their divine nature and true purpose in this life.

A journey into the depths of one's own consciousness where we connect with the wisdom of the ancients. A single ceremony with the medicine can feel like thousands of years of therapy and healing.

Leaving us with a profound sense of gratitude and reverence for the sacred interplay of life and spirit. The memory of this experience merges into the soul and serves as a guiding star, illuminating the path towards greater understanding, compassion, and self-realization.

SAN PEDROSAN PEDRO image

What to Expect from San Pedro

San Pedro works slowly and gradually in the system and therefore requires the entire day. Often moving through what are called"waves" of teachings, where the medicine comes and goes through out the ceremony. Often revealing different aspects of our lives and understandings that require attention.

San Pedros effects can last up to 8 hours. Not to be feared though, as San Pedro is known for being the most gentle, heart opening and forgiving of all plant medicines. It is powerfully gentle, and gently powerful.

San Pedro provides guidance and support, allowing participants to explore their inner selves at a manageable pace. As the effects gradually subside, the ceremony transitions into an integration phase, where participants reflect, share insights, and honor the collective journey. Post-ceremony support is offered to guide the integration of newfound insights into daily life.
